We have so much capacity for giving, either for the Tsunami, Katrina, Bombings, or the Earthquake. But then, our leaders have such a capacity for killing.
Maybe if we got rid of the leaders...
How would life work without government?
There are theories, but my favourite would be that all people would be able to come to agreements for defence, and that people would not, in general, want to hurt each other.
But maybe that's a little idealistic.

Date: 2005-10-18 03:21 pm (UTC)Change cannot be constant, because then change would have to change, and it would inevitably change into not-changing, thus denying the "constant" factor.
Basically, saying "Change is constant", especially to say it is the only constant is a logical fallacy, at worst, and an empty philosophic noise, at the least.
I apologize. I've just despised that catchy little phrase for some time now.
