Creative writing / photography challenge

OK, so after a few 10 word challenges, let's try two challenges for all of you who like to write, and one of them would be really good if a Photographer (hint hint) had a shot. Oh and jsbrown too.

Challenge No. 1
Take a song that brings back memories of something, or someone, the more powerful the memory the better. Tell me what the song is, and write or illustrate your memory.

Challenge No. 2
Write a Villanelle, any subject you want, but follow the form.

From as far back as I can remember my father sexually molested me and my sister at night until I was 14 years old. A lot of my anger, and self-pity comes from the shame of never telling anyone until I was 24 years old. Whenever I would get down about something, I always blamed it on the abuse. There were many times I would withdraw myself from everyone including my husband, to suffer in silence, like I believed that I should. I always felt like I deserved what happened in a way, because I did not stop it, and I did not protect my sister. The end result is that I've lost my entire family due to telling, as they feel that it must not have been as bad as I say if I never told them before now. Basically they have taken his side. Many songs (especially Tori Amos) speak for me, or to me. One is Lust.

Little did I know that my simple challenge would bring forth such a revelation.

A father who does such a thing angers me so much, it's a taint on the pure and decent name of fatherhood.

And that your family would try to think it can't have been that bad?

I've spent so much time hiding, that in a way I use shock therapy on myself, by telling the whole truth always. More often than not it's harder on those I tell then on me.
