A bit funky

When a walk is almost a dance
And everyone follows
Unconsciously falling into pace
A drill sergeants dream
And nightmare
It's infectious
Nobody's in line
But everyone's in step
Shifting sideways
Lengthening their steps
Faster motion
To the same beat
It's a world, is this path
A microcosm
A macrocosm
Everyone's left foot
Raised at the same time
Are we pushing the earth
Or the other way round
But we're just walking

But maybe we did
