We need to get a muslim version of "Dune". The fremen would never condone wasting so much water when living in a desert climate. If people want to kill eachother then it should be hand to hand, and the winner will have to take care of the losers family!!

Alas, if only life made as much sense as fiction. Perhaps if we air-dropped a few thousand Frank Herbert paperbacks on the middle-east...

Maybe it has something to do with the distinct lack of giant sand worms in that area of the world. Hm.

I'm sure after a few more oil spills we can have giant sandworms within a couple years, that or the creatures from tremors.
