You know what, I'll be the first to admit there is some accuracy in that statement. God knows that my senior year of college I stayed in emotionally unstable and unhealthy relationships and made bad decisions just for the sake of being able to say I was in a relationship, all the while not knowing that a nice guy (and one I had liked for years) had a crush on me but was too shy to say something. By the time we both figured it out, it was too late to do anything about it. Women can be very self-destructive and it is the nice guys who miss out because of it.
