My skin stays the same
and yet I change
so completely
A different man to one
than I am to another
So different at times
that in my detachment
I hate myself
Yet I must accept
that this is me
and try to seek
a single reason
to love myself enough
to not need to change
to find acceptance
in another’s eyes
