Yes. I believe I do. But unfortunately sometimes I go against it!

Why do you go against it?

Because I have this tendency to doubt myself and second guess myself. I think that's also why I always ask people about various issues in my life. I want to make sure I am doing the right thing and being fair. Which is kind of silly because most of the time I am.

I believe I do...but I'm a firm believer in that whole "some of the worst mistakes are done with the best intentions." Or however the hell that saying goes! ^__^ Basically, I never intend to hurt anyone, but that often ends up happening, anyway. And I feel like such a loathesome creature when it does!

Oh yes...Good morning!

Yeah, but you can't know the future, and it's safer to maintain good intentions than hope that intentions won't make a difference...

Good morning!

I believe I do but sometimes I just don't listen and I get swated in the back of the heads by the Fates and I then realize I should have listened to my "gut" in the first place.

Good Morning!

Yes... scarily so sometimes. Unfortunately there's no switch for it- so I'm just in the dark most of the time. But there have been some times. Intuition is a frightening thing.

How about you?

Because I normally have a predetermined course, or I stubbornly cling to logical conclusions.

When I was little, I would get bad vibes about certain people, generally ones very well liked by my parents, and would be totally unable to explain it. Everyone else would be very perplexed by it, because generally these were people that looked very good on the surface, were very charismatic and well-liked. My parents used to pray that I would get the gift of Discernment of Spirits (so that I would finally see how great said people were and would quit being freaked out by them, I assume). The more they prayed, the more weirded out I would get. (And fundies don't tend to like things like that that they can't brainwash out of you, let me tell you.)

A wee bit later on down the road, all the dirty laundry would come out in the wash, and it would turn out that these people were not nearly so nice as everyone had come to believe they were. Quite a bit of nastiness would generally ensue, which was generally somewhat unpleasant for all in the vicinity, including unrelated passersby who just happened to get caught up in the wake (and my parents tended to be quite a bit more in the thick of things than they should have been, being generally trusting souls, and thoroughly brainwashable like all good fundies). After the chaos died down a little bit, my mother would generally say something like "Do you remember when ..." But then we would go through the whole rigamarole again the next time when someone a little too good to be true came along.

I wouldn't say I have good intuition, generally speaking, but when I get a bad vibe, especially for no good reason, I tend to run for the hills. Do not pass go, do not collect $100.
