My Utopia is an island nation, which I get to be 'benevolent dictator' of... which has the one 'absolutely necessary' crop/product/item that enables us to trade with the rest of the world - but also enables us safety from the rest of the world (i.e. it can cannot be taken by force) On the island are only people of my choosing. They do what they will - but mostly, that consists of studying, theorizing, experimenting, writing, creating, playing... all the 'renaissance man' traits that are no longer rewarded in today's world.
