I'm sure it's not my most peaceful memory but I do call on it often...
I've written about it before - it's become my mental oasis. The desert garden at the Cameron Trading Post in Arizona. It was a rare beautiful sight for me - I'm so used to seeing a tropical type of beauty and I was in awe of the differnce. It was a late afternoon walk through the gardens with Ralph after a long, hot day of sight seeing in Arizona. Being in the presense of my love in that mini desert oasis of unusual plants/cactus, colorful tiles, rough stucco, the sound of runing water, a gorgeous desert sunset in the making and hummingbirds. Hmmmmm. My words don't do it justice.
Anyway, while I was living it, I didn't realize how much it was affecting me and how often I'd replay those moments in my mind.
