Back in the 90's I was laid off in October from a software company that was bought out. I received an invitation to the Christmas party for some reason. Whatever, I thought and decided to go. I also decided to wear my tuxedo.
The wife and I showed up and we had a blast. The reception hall was rather hot so I ended up taking off my jacket. This left me looking exactly like the wait-staff that was serving us. After my fifth (or sixth) straight single malt scotch, I began telling people that I was actually on my break and worked at the hotel.
I was called within two months to re-interview for my old job. I declined.
No, but I will tell you one anyway.....
