People eating. I have really problems seeing someone eating. I have even bigger problems hearing someone eating (I have to have music playing or the TV on to try and block out the sound). This is not good considering I work in a restaurant.
Slugs, the sound of someone chewing when I'm not also eating, roadkill/carcasses (especially the smell), and since I've had smaller many more smells that I've become aware of in the world.
LMAO!!! You are brave! I NEVER ate the vomit flavoured ones. I was warned big time by an ex of mine who bought them for me. Though his little nephew loved the vomit ones. *quirks a brow*
I got dared to do it while on a tour of the Jelly Belly jelly bean factory in Sacramento. The girl behind the counter gave me some very strong peppermint flavored beans to get rid of the taste of the vomit. It didn't work. Just thinking about it, my stomach's rolling. Ugh.
I have friends that swear the booger and ear wax ones are yummy. Uh... thanks, but no thanks.
I agree with you. I used to weigh 235 pounds (I'm 5'3). I am now 137 pounds (no surgery.. just changed my diet and exercised. Was down to 130, but gained some weight in New York while visiting my Fiance.. LOL). And I work in a restaurant and see people... obese people buying all this crap and I just want to shout at them "EAT A SALAD!!!"
I guess that is kinda mean for me to say, but at the same time, I USED to be fat... so I know.
Exactly the same for me. Plus, I see them where I work... with COPD, bone problems, heart problems, and a "poor me" attitude. I don't think I am a food Nazi, but you've just got to be REASONABLE!
Reasonable yes. I mean where i work, some people will order a TON of food, seriously. Some will eat more for lunch when I will in an ENTIRE day!
My brother has a friend who weighs close to 500 pounds. He's 5'11 and just HUGE. And my brother tells me he eats and eats and eats. Well this guy's friend was big too and got gastric-bypass and now is so much thinner. He was scheduled for one, but got scared and said he'd do Jenny Craig instead. Well one day, he passed by a full length mirror in a department store and what he saw of himself scared the crap out of him. He'd never seen his full body. And so now... he's scheduled for gastric-bypass too this June. He's a very nice guy and I would hate to see him die because of food.
And it's soooooooooo easy to gain weight. It truly is. Sure, have a burger, but maybe once a week or every other week or once a month. Not every day! :)
This may sound like the strangest thing...but i cannot stand cleaning up peoples plates with food on it lol...I can clean up puke, wipe my patients clean the food off their faces bathe them, clean their nails and change thier dirty depends...but i can't clear away their plates without gagging...I am a strange one. :P
My family has high cholesterol; high enoughthat we get lumps of chicken fat on the exterior. My father has lumps in his eye sockets, and now I've had one appear in the same place. I was talking to his mother, my grandmother about the malady and noted she didn't have the eye things. She said she had them, only hers were on her butt. She offered to show me if I was interested.
The thought of ever seeing my grandmother's butt, grosses me out!
The sound of people eating and the smell of cooked meat. Raw meat/fish are fine, but it's the cooked stuff that drives me nuts. I can't even be near it.
The smell of fish. Someone touching my inner wrist and pressing against the veins. Needles sticking into someones vein. Stepping on and crushing a snail(accidentally). There's quite a bit that grosses me out or makes me feel faint.

When I see really fat people shoving unhealthy food down their gullets, or smoking--- it's disgusting.
