Okay, this was a bit of an experiment for me. Usually I have a big enough piece of beef to wrap around the filling and tie off...

I rubbed some Crisco onto the inside of a meatloaf pan, lined it with strips of rump, then powdered the inside of the strips and the joins with a mixture of flour, salt, pepper, paprika, oregano, and basil.
The filling is diced potatoes, carrots, onions and some cheese. All I had was Double Gloucester, and it didn't melt as I wanted it to.
I placed a final piece of beef on the top, and seasoned with basil, oregano, salt, pepper, and paprika, and sprayed with olive oil.
Baked it on a high heat for about twenty-five minutes.

And here it is:

That looks like a very hearty, manly - been outside doing manly chores - gotta scrape dirt off my boots - have to shave my scruffy beard - gimme a beer, bitch - flex those muscles....type of meal, yanno? =)

Yeah, I have enough testosterone in me to give that recipe a try. It doesn't scare ME. ;)

Seriously, looks wicked good. You're out doing yourself lately, aren't you mate?
