i think i am more service orientated, if someone give me great customer service then i would likely purchase from them again, even if they are a little more expensive. saying that i do believe that in a fair few (not all cases) you get what you pay for, so if i was looking for a TV for example i would not eve consider billy no name brand against a sony, toshiba, phillips etc
Heck no, I'll buy at Walmart or Aldi any day. I'm all for lower prices if I can get comparable quality (cos you know just as well that the big brand products are also made in China these days). In fact, I think that the biggest reason brand products cost more is not the higher quality, but the higher advertising budgets.
With some things...yes. LIKE...I ALWAYS by Ragu spaghetti sauce...it rox. My mom bought it and now I buy it. Hostess has the best cupcakes eventho they are more expensive....haha!
Let's see. I would rather have Nike's than any other tennis shoe and I'm a faithful Croc wearer. I love Carhart jackets and joe boxer soxs. Bras and panties have to be a certain brand. I guess I am more brand conscious than I thought.
To some things yes. It depends on the company's commitment to the environment, being organic, avoiding use of high fructose corn syrup (in food), etc. If I find something that meets my requirements, I will look for it every time I go to the store.
Depends. I'd say with most things I'm NOT brand loyal. But there are a few things I feel very strongly about. One thing offhand I can think of is ketchup, I'll ONLY eat Heinz. All other ketchup is disgusting! I'm also pretty loyal to Pampers.
For certain products, yes. In fact, I've been thinking about writing a post on this for ages, now, and just haven't gotten around to it.
For instance, I always buy Q-tips. It's not that I haven't tried other brands, it's just that I've tried them and they've failed. I always buy New Balance, because other tennis shoes just don't fit my feet. And Charmin just feels nice on my butt, and isn't too terribly linty, if you must know. ;)
Oh, and Guinness is in a class of its own. I don't even think of that as brand loyalty... there's nothing else that compares.
I think on some stuff I am...like I'll likely always buy a honda...they've been good to me...but for clothing...no...and food...not really...and for cleaning products...sometimes.
I usually stick with what works. I'm extremely faithful to Estee Lauder - it's the only makeup I've used for the past 8 years, and I tend to wear their perfumes as well. I use the same products on my hair all the time: John Frieda's Frizz-Ease line, Queen Helene Cholesterol, and, when I can afford it - or desperately need it - Bone Marrow. I used to be a total Banana Republic whore, but lately their clothing hasn't appealed to me. And Coach. I loooove me some Coach handbags.
not really, because just as long as its within my price range im ok. im not talking about when it comes to technology, because to have good technology you have to spend alot, but when it comes to clothes or food, i buy cheeeeeeap.
Hi- I just added you as a friend BTW. I like your style/philosophy.
Yes, I am brand conscious. I am loyal to MAC Cosmetics for all the good they do and they have kick-ass colors. They support AIDS research (all the sales from their VIVA GLAM goes to it!), they recycle and don't test on animals. I do my best to not make things worse for the environment
