My Daddy taught me to laugh at myself and a hard situation. He was always chuckling when things got stressed or bad. At the time I thought he was mad (in the head sense) or unfeeling but now I see it as a positive thing. Some people rant and carry on, my Dad laughs.

My Mum, even though she has been my hardest judge and worst critic, has shown me what unfailing loyalty means and inner strength. She would do anything for her children and stands up for herself and those she loves. Her fire and strength keep mine alive. She made me strong in some ways.

My brother, for his loyalty and compassion. Through the hard trials in my life he has always stood by me and stood up for me. No jealous, envy or dislike exists between us. We are there for each other, an unspoken thing, and his character is a beautiful thing. I wish more men had his depth of character.

My son, for without his indominable spirit I could not grow into a mother and individual. He teaches me to take chances, to be a better mother, to see life and things through different eyes and all about patience.

:)

We've always been a close-knit family. It was the 4 of us against the world growing up and now there are 5. I am proud of my family. I am fortunate with the family I was born into.
