Is it more important to work for the team, or for yourself?

I've worked in so many team-situations where there have been one or more people only out for themselves and it made the rest of the team deteriorate. When all the members of the team worked "for" the team, the job went smoothly. In situations where the members were serving their own interests, I found myself wanting out quickly. Otherwise, yes, I do like teamwork. ::smiles::
