Is the joy of the flight worth the fall?

My Icarian heart says yes, always. Burn the candle at both ends, Ah my foes and oh my friends, and all that sort of thing.

My more sensible Daedalan mind says no, never. Everyday life, with its books, its embraces, its cups of tea, is too precious to risk on one moment of ecstatic flight.

I imagine the correct answer is somewhere in between.

I would say that learning from the fall, you can fly forever :)

I was imagining the fall to be final. If you have the option of falling more than once, then why not?
