As long as you can get back up. Once I've experienced everything else... then the final flight will be worth the final fall. I just don't ever see myself filled with that many experiences where I can someday say I've done it all. Time will tell...
If you don't fly, you'll never have a chance of reaching your fullest potential. Falling's only bad if you hit the ground and learn nothing from the experience.
My Icarian heart says yes, always. Burn the candle at both ends, Ah my foes and oh my friends, and all that sort of thing.
My more sensible Daedalan mind says no, never. Everyday life, with its books, its embraces, its cups of tea, is too precious to risk on one moment of ecstatic flight.
I imagine the correct answer is somewhere in between.
