Let's all write!
Feb. 10th, 2006 02:45 pmGive me a line to start a poem with, but, the deal you make, is to write another poem in response, taking the last line from mine as your first line.
Be brave... writing doesn't hurt a bit...

too long was she tied
Too many tears cried

Date: 2006-02-10 04:06 pm (UTC)cried, ceaselessly it feels,
in to a paper cup
spilling over-
spreading rainbow-puddles
from the tips of her toes

Date: 2006-02-10 04:09 pm (UTC)her energy rekindled

Date: 2006-02-10 04:15 pm (UTC)sharp clink of metal
on metal as we move
forward and back
thrust, and then parry
twinkling eyes promising
the sweetness of surrender

On bended knee, head inclined
Life or death at your whim

Date: 2006-02-10 04:45 pm (UTC)you spin the thread 'round
fingers tense, stretch it taut,
a cats craddle of consciousness

Date: 2006-02-10 04:50 pm (UTC)that holds me aloft

comforting? she supposes
this stranger thinks he feels
what she feels, seeping
through her skin where they touch,
two forms colliding violently
in his lips, gentle
upon her brow, hand
moving down her back-
"it'll be okay," her eyes
shoot poison arrows sinking
her head in to his shoulder
"thanks,"
silently, she screams
